Ms. Hassan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and Spanish Studies from California State University, San Bernardino. She received her Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School, where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Board and served as Vice President of the Hispanic American Law Student Association. She graduated with her J.D. in 2016.

Ms. Hassan is a member of the Orange County Bar Association–Family Law branch, Orange County Hispanic Bar Association, California Lawyers Association, and the Orange County Women’s Lawyers Association. Ms. Hassan was elected to be on the board of directors for the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association in 2021. Ms. Hassan served on the board as their Chief Financial Officer in 2022 and 2023, and as the Vice President in 2024. Ms. Hassan is currently the President-Elect and will serve as President in 2026.

Laura Hassan has been with Madison Law, APC since 2016, first as a law clerk and now as an associate attorney. At Madison Law, APC, she has learned by example the importance of tenacity, compassion, and commitment in advocating for clients. Ms. Hassan’s practice primarily focuses on business litigation and family law.

Since 2017, Ms. Hassan has been involved in numerous litigation matters. She has also dedicated her time to pro bono programs, assisting immigrant and refugee children and working to combat substandard housing. Currently, Ms. Hassan provides pro bono services for Laura’s House, a Domestic Violence Shelter and Resource Center for individuals and families affected by domestic violence. Through her work, she helps advance their advocacy efforts to end domestic violence. Madison Law is deeply committed to addressing domestic violence and fully supports Ms. Hassan in contributing to this vital cause, providing her with any resources necessary.

Ms. Hassan is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Central and Eastern Districts of California.
